He took the time to do a full electric diagnostic on the car and all come back okay.... so trouble shooted working methodically around the engine bay. Thankfully identified the part that required replacing, got the part and fitted that day! I was back on the road with my car on the same day too!!!

Rob is currently working by on my precious Mustang to get it into a roadworthy condition. She looked great when I bought her, but over the next few years a few mechanical problems emerged. It ultimately got to the point where the car really wasn’t pleasant to drive, and I heard about RHS so I thought I’d get some diagnosis done. Rob went right through the car and came up with a comprehensive list of issues, some small and some not so small, which we talked through and prioritised together. He started off dealing with the steering and suspension which needed multiple parts replacing and servicing, and he arranged for manufacture of a beautiful new stainless steel exhaust from one of his specialist suppliers. The car sounds awesome! Rob’s work has been so good that I have now decided to have him continue with the bigger job of removing the engine to deal with low compression and get it running properly. Rob has worked with me to come up with an affordable schedule so that I can manage the spending at my end and throughout the whole process Rob has kept me up to date with progress and costs. I’ve made several visits to the workshop, he has sent me videos, and of course we’ve had many calls and email exchanges. I’m really looking forward to getting the car back for the summer.
I handed the keys to my precious Ultima to Rob for multiple issues I was experiencing. Air conditioning had failed, multiple electrical issues and occasional failing to start. It is always nerve racking starting a journey with a new garage but Rob listened carefully to the issues, threw around ideas and thankfully started work almost straight away. The Ultima is a horrible car to work on due to lack of space mainly. The end result was a new condenser ordered from the USA and fitted, the a/c unit was rewired and all faults leading back to the cockpit were traced. Now I have ice cold aircon! All fuses and relays were checked and swapped where an issue existed, continuity checked to establish some faults with relays and poor wiring on its build. Rob also diagnosed a poor earth strap which would have lead to the start issues and as well as remedying that issue he also added a secondary earth strap to ensure that the LS3 would start first time everytime! It was a time consuming, difficult but brilliant piece of diagnostic work on that car.
Any car fanatic will know that it takes a lot to allow someone to work on your car. It is always a big decision. I now have a great relationship with the team at RHS who have worked on my other car as well now which is running better than ever!
